CARE POLICY

Don't feel like chatting? Just let us know, we won't be offended!

You can request a silent service when booking. If that's a bit too forward for your liking, close your eyes, open your book, or get stuck into your electronic device - we will pick up what you're putting down. We all live busy lives and sometimes tuning out whilst getting your hair done is just what the doctor ordered.

Our team are here for you and your appointment is meant to make you feel good. If anything or anyone is making you feel uncomfortable, please don't be afraid to let one of us know so we can resolve the issue discretely.

CANCELLATION POLICY

24 hours notice is required for any cancellations. No-shows or late cancellations will result in a fee of 50% of your booked service. Payment will be requested on your next appointment.

Please understand that this is a preventative measure to ensure that our small business can continue and our time is respected.

To put it plainly - if you don’t show up, we can’t earn an income.

We reserve the right to consider you a no-show if you are over 15 minutes late, or the equivalent of a third of your appointment time. If you are late and we can still fit you in, your desired service may have to be altered to work within the time restraints.

DECENCY POLICY

At The Brush & Broom, we believe in kindness and inclusivity. Any racist, homophobic, transphobic, or other hateful behaviour/anecdotes will not be tolerated.

Please be mindful that you are on Ngunnawal land and that this is a space that deeply respects the traditional custodians of the country in which we are so fortunate to conduct business on.

Rudeness to staff will also not be tolerated. If you need to be out of the salon by a certain time, please let us know when you book in, or at the beginning of your service so we can make the changes to fit your schedule.
